How We Build
Brand Name Quality In Every Home - We use the names that you have come to know and love for quality, durability and design. Brands like Modern View Windows, Kraftmaid Cabinetry, Moen Faucets and more. We also have other Brands available you may recognize such as Andersen Windows, Mannington Flooring and Corian Countertops as options.
Engineered Floor System - all wood open webbed, finger jointed floor truss without metal plate connectors. With the engineering strength of triangulation, our system uses solid sawn lumber to it's maximum capacity and creates natural voids for electrical and plumbing systems. We use Advantech floor sheathing that is produced with sustainable fast growing tree species and an advanced resin glue that is GreenGuard Certified.
Wallboard Fastening System - We use a high strength GreenGuard certified glue system to attach the drywall to the wall studs and ceiling joists This offers a higher strength product, that creates an airtight drywall system, and a better primed finish. This process of assembling the walls eliminates almost all drywall fasteners that can cause defects.
Cellulose Dense-Pack Insulation - Nu-wool is an engineered, energy-saving insulation made of recycled newspapers and it offers superior thermal and air infiltration properties. Cellulose dense-pack insulation provides up to 40% savings on your energy bill when compared to conventional insulating materials; and it contains a fungicide that makes it resistant to the growth of mold and is fire resistant.
High Performance Energy Star Lighting Systems - that use the latest advancements in CFL engineering and design technologies . Nearly 20% of household electricity use goes to lighting and Energy Star qualified fixtures use two thirds less energy that traditional lighting.
