I haven't tested many modular buildings other than the notorious double-wides,
so I expected some air sealing issues at the joints between modules, but this
building exceeded my expectations by a long shot.

Do you sell directly to homeowners?
Preferred Building Systems sells to qualified builders only, due to the nature
of our product and the expectation of energy efficiency. It is very important
to us at PBS that the home perform well above current energy code standards,
therefore we require a builder to complete the home so that you can achieve
the highest level of efficiency.
What geographical areas do you deliver your modular homes?
We currently deliver our custom modular homes to New Hampshire NH, Vermont
VT, Maine ME, Massachusetts MA, Connecticut CT, and Rhode Island RI.
How much do your modular homes cost?
Preferred Building Systems is a custom modular home manufacturer that wholesales
homes to qualified builders. If you are actively seeking a home and already
have a builder and a set of plans, we would be happy to quote the project
for your builder. However if you do not have a builder we would be happy
to find you a builder that will complete your house.
Do you have a catalog of home plans?
Our homes are custom and we do not have a catalog of plans that a homeowner must choose from,
each of our modular homes is custom designed for the homeowner. We do have a sample catalog of some
homes that have been completed in the past that you can use to narrow down the features that you like
and would want to see in your own custom modular home.

First Time Home Buyers may now qualify for the $8,000.00 Tax Credit.
February 17, 2009 - The new tax credit, combined with current market conditions,
provides an unprecedented opportunity for home buyers. Mortgage interest rates are
near 5 percent - the lowest level in decades. Since the tax credit is refundable, it
means that the home buyer can claim the credit even if they owe little or no federal income
taxes. In other words, the government would write you a check.
